Lick #30 | David Crosby “Deja Vu” – Open Tuning Fingerpicking Guitar Lesson

The 30th episode of my guitar lick series and a tribute to one of the all-time great acoustic guitarists and musicians David Crosby! In episode #30, we’ll take a look at the intro to one of my favorite Crosby, Stills, Nash songs “Deja Vu”. In this lesson, we’ll use a bit of Travis Picking and an alternate tuning you may not have heard before. The tuning we will be using is one that was shown to David Crosby by none other than Joni Mitchell. It uses the notes E – B – D – G – A – D. This tuning is also featured on the CSN song “Guinevere”.
